Student Support
New London College offers a wide range of value-added services to all of its students, current & prospective. Equality to all the students, whatever ethical background they belong to, is the principle of NLC.
To ensure your studies at New London College are as enjoyable as they are useful, we offer a range of welfare services & facilities. A member of staff is always available to offer advice on various issues. We especially ensure that our younger, more vulnerable students are assisted in every possible way to ensure that their study at New London College is both enjoyable and safe.
Student advisers offer individual advice to students on practical matters such as awards, fees, immigration, legal matters and money management. The Student Advisers also produce a wide range of information sheets covering most aspects of student entitlements, including information on loans and awards; funding and travel. These are available from the Administrative Office.
Counselling Services: New London College recognises that, from time to time, personal and emotional difficulties can affect your ability to concentrate and study effectively and to perform to your full potential. That is why we have a counselling service.
The Service offers individual and group counseling on a short or long term basis, depending on needs and availability. In addition, a wide programme of workshops and events are organised throughout the academic year.

Progress reports: The College will send these, if required, to the student's nominee - e.g. parent, guardian or employer. Students who wish to take advantage of this service should advise the College of the name and address of the person to whom reports are to be sent.
