The following admission procedure applies to all the courses at New London College.
Entry Requirements: As per the individual programme specification.
Eligibility Assessment: Assessment for entry is based on the level of qualification that you are applying for.
For English Language courses and courses at Level-3 or below, a free Initial Assessment is carried out and an offer is made at the most appropriate level.
For Higher Level qualifications, the grades obtained in relevant subjects as well as on aggregates in GCSE and A Level (or equivalent) examinations are assessed. We will additionally consider grades obtained in the requisite entry qualifications. Where necessary, you will be interviewed personally to make a decision on your suitability for the course.
Application: Firstly, you have to check the entry requirements of the desired course and show your determination to be admitted onto a particular course and its level of study. Once a course is chosen and Eligibility Assessment is completed, you must complete the application form as the first step of the application process. The application has be submitted together with:
- Photocopy of your passport
- Proof of Address
- Copies of all or latest educational qualifications
- Registration fee of £100. Non-refundable, but will be adjusted towards the course fee on enrolment
All photocopies should be verified and attested by a New London College Officer. You are requested not to submit us your original passport or educational certificates.
Closing Date: Unless specified in the course details or notified on the College Website, there is no official closing date for applications. Depending on when the application is made, we will offer a place for the next available session. If the application is aimed at a specific start date, it is strongly recommended that the application is made well in advance.
