As a Lecurer in Accounting, you will be responsible for teaching
modules in Accounting for ACCA, Undergraduate & Posrgraduate
students.
A minimum experience of 2 years in similar
position or job profile is required. The applicant is also
expected to have teaching experience in UK.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated,
enthusiastic and dynamic Accounting Lecturer to teach on a range
of Accounting courses including Book Keeping, Computerised Accounts
and Payroll, CAT, ACCA and CIMA.
Main duties:
- Lecture, conduct seminars and tutorials and
use other teaching methods as appropriate.
- Preparing schemes
of work, lesson plans, and course outline and defining relevant
marking schemes amd assessment criteria.
- Take an active part
in curriculum development for specific courses and where appropriate
across the division.
- Facilitate learning by selecting appropriate
materials and methods to student needs and course levels, providing
students with timely feedback and guidance to support their
learning and enhance their knowledge and progress within the
constraints of assessment confidentiality
- Participate in recruiting,
interviewing, selecting and counselling of students. Keep accurate
and complete records of attendance of students.
- Take part
in and contribute to course evaluation and review.
- Take part
in appropriate staff development activities and also promote
and market the college in a positive way
- Taking active
part in maintaining and improving the total college environment.
- Invigilate time constrained assessment and examinations
as required.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support in preparing the college’s
end of year Accounts.
- Actively involved in preparation and analysing college's
cash flow and financial projections from time to time.
Skills & Qualifications:
You should be an experienced professional with a desire to
deliver the highest quality teaching to students across a range
of Professional Accounting and
Finance subjects. Appropriate Accounting qualification
(AAT, CIMA or ACCA qualified) or a degree in Accounting is required.
You are expected to contribute, through research and subject development,
to the academic life and reputation of the college. The suitable person
will have to be culturally diverse, internationally minded, and comfortable
with students of all nationalities. Previous experience of lecturing
is desirable.
